About Rolling Meadows

The Rolling Meadows Philosophy:

"Because the resident has need, we have opportunity. Because the resident has choice, we must be superior. Because the resident has urgency, we must act promptly. Because the resident has expectations, we must exceed them. Because the resident is so important, our service must be legendary."

For over 25 years, Rolling Meadows, a not for profit community, has been dedicated to providing a senior living experience unparalleled by any other community in Texoma.

Rolling Meadows began as a vision of a group of members of the First Baptist Church. It was their dream to give residents of Wichita Falls and surrounding counties an option in retirement living. They felt there was a real need for a community offering upscale services and amenities, while holding true to not for profit values.

A 30 acre tract of land was chosen, and Wichita Falls Retirement Foundation became the non-profit corporation.  Rolling Meadows was the name adopted for the community.

In 1983, construction began, and in 1984, Rolling Meadows hosted its first three residents in the cottages.  The Grand Opening of Rolling Meadows occurred in  March 1985, and the Healthcare Center also opened at this time.  Over the years, many additions came to Rolling Meadows, including the dedication of the Rivkin Apartment Building in 1992, the Rolling Meadows Home Health Agency in 1995, a state of the art Fitness Center with indoor heated pool in 2007, and most recently, a renovated Atrium with the Royal Perk Coffee Bar, the Knight Kap Sports Club, and a techology center.

Through the years, Rolling Meadows has continued to provide a premier living environment, based on Christian values, upscale services and amenities, and respect for our residents.
